Editing our children's film- Monday 1st November 2010

We opened our footage that we had save on Final Cut Pro so that we could begin our editing. The first thing we had to do was to watch all of our footage back so that we could start to think about where we would cut the shots. Then we began the cutting of the shots and selected which ones looked the best, as we filmed each shot more than once.
Everything was running smoothly until we noticed something not right in one of our shots. It appeared that for this particular clip, the pause button had been pressed instead of the record button, so the footage we wanted for that clip hadn't been filmed. As a group we decided that we couldn't make do without that footage so we had to re-film that clip before continuing with the editing.
After we had captured the newly filmed shot onto the computer we continued cutting the clips.
